Who We Are

Developing Future Maestros — Cape Town

Developing Future Maestros (DFM) is a Cape Town-based youth football coaching academy founded on a simple belief: with the right coaching, every young player has the potential to become a maestro.

Led by Coach Ashraf, DFM operates at Rygersdal FC in Rondebosch and Heathfield Primary School — two of the best training surfaces in Cape Town's southern suburbs. We focus on developing the whole player — technically, physically, mentally, and tactically.

From our Friday and Sunday sessions at Rygersdal to our off-season community programs in Cape Town, everything we do gives young players the foundation they need to succeed on and off the field.

Our Football Training Venues

DFM trains at two excellent facilities in Cape Town's southern suburbs, with plans to expand further.

Rygersdal FC — Rondebosch, Cape Town

Grosvenor Road, Rosebank, Cape Town. Our primary football training ground — Rygersdal B Field hosts our Friday evening sessions (4:30–7:30pm) and Sunday morning sessions (9–11am). One of Cape Town's top community football venues.

Heathfield Primary School — Cape Town

Heathfield, Cape Town. Featuring both an artificial ground and a grass surface, Heathfield Primary gives our players an excellent second training environment in Cape Town's southern suburbs.
